General FAQ Answers:

1. MeliModa is an online platform that allows brands to sign up, post line sheets, catalogues, and connect with retail buyers from all over the world in order to get their lines in stores more effectively. MeliModa is also open to the public where they will receive instant access to the newest styles and have the opportunity to pre-order merchandise.

2. No. Not at all, for the general public of course. Just sign up here and start browsing and shopping away. Retail buyers and brands have requirements however.

3. Yes, yes. MeliModa is open to the entire public. MeliModa believes that public customers make brands thrive and we love the idea of having customers provide input and support to brands.

4. Of course! For the public and retail buyers, MeliModa.com will always be free. Brands have to pay a small fee.

5. Pre-order shipping is based on the particular brand. Normally, pre-ordering merchandise takes a slightly longer shipping time because the items are not available yet, thus, giving you instant access to the latest trends. Estimated pre-order shipping date is located on brand pages.

6. MeliModa is the key to every fashion-loving-person out there. Be the first to preview new collections and lines, discover brands you’ve never heard of, and even help in the development of a brand by leaving feedback and voting on what they should keep in their collection or get rid of. You also don’t have to wait until the new merchandise is in stores, per-order your favorite items through MeliModa. And the best part, we give points away for almost everything which converts to free money for you to shop!

7. Yes. Everyone needs to register which will make communicating much easier.

You earn points through shopping, inviting friends, referring brands, donating to a Moda Cares cause, and many other top secret ways we won't share. The best way to build points is to be an active user and shopper on the site. Once you have earned over 1000pts you can redeem your cash or credits

1. MeliModa was founded on the principle of helping brands grow. We know how hard it is to contact buyers and distributors, especially if you are making your debut. We make it easier for you to reach, and sell, to retailers by posting all your information, allowing them to sift through it anytime of the day. MeliModa also allows you to spread brand awareness to the general public as they are signed up and looking through pages ready to buy and see what’s out there.

2. You can post everything that will benefit you. Your press info, contact info, wholesale info, fabric info, photos, catalogues, line sheets and much more. We have made it easy for you to upload the information, just follow the templates to create your profile.

3. Very little! During out beta phase, we are offering free membership. You have the option of a month to month membership which is $20/Month or you can sign up for annual membership which is $200/Year.

4. We take a very small percentage of each sale to cover transaction fees. The percentage is 7.5%.

5. Your credit card will be charged every 30 days after the trial period is over.

6. Although we believe you'll be so satisfied that you'll never want to leave us" instead of "ever want to leave us.

7. No. Wholesale pricing information is strictly for retail buyers only who buy in bulk. Public buyers will not have access to wholesales costs in order to protect the brands business methods as well as personal account information including passwords, and sales history. However, public buyers will have access to every other piece of information.

8. The point system is absolutely fantastic and works in everyone’s favor to get free money! You receive points for just signing in, inviting more friends and brands, participating in surveys, shopping, being active on the website, and so much more. We have access to overseas distributors that can connect with you to bring your brand to other countries. 5. Ahh, we understand, you don’t want your information to spread contagiously. While signing up, we require accurate information; however, you have the freedom to change your place of employment in your privacy settings. We encourage everyone to act professional to keep MeliModa organized.
